Common questions
Why do busy Free servers need a daily vote?
Every message Moddy checks runs through AI, and that costs us money. Votes on top.gg help Moddy grow and cover those costs, which keeps it free. Every Free server gets 100 messages a day without voting. After that, the server owner or an administrator votes once a day; without a vote, Moddy isn’t moderating for the rest of that day (UTC). Paid plans never need a vote.
What counts as a message?
A message checked against your enabled rules counts once, even if you have several rules. Failed AI checks are refunded.
What happens at my limit?
Moderation pauses until your allowance resets on the first of the month (UTC), or you upgrade. Enterprise has no message cap.
Can I use a plan across servers?
Each subscription covers one Discord server. Pick your server in the dashboard to choose or manage its plan.
Your rules, enforced in under a second.
Start on the free plan and upgrade only when your server needs more.
